My name is Brad Ross and I'm a Sr Social Designer and Video Editor at ESPN. Our design team supports all of ESPN's social accounts and brands on Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, and Snapchat with over 350M followers. I strive to concept and execute high quality creative that can engage on all platforms. Over the past two years, my video edits have been viewed more than 346M times and with over 34M likes. I do everything from editing, animation, static design, compositing, motion graphics, ideation, writing, directing, pitching, and more. I take pride in learning new stuff every chance I get and love to be a jack of all trades.
My true passion and specialty is digging into the work with editing and animation. While using the full Adobe Creative Cloud arsenal, I am able to take ideas and build them from the ground up all the way to delivery. I thrive on situations with tight timelines and the need for quick work.
Prior to my role in social, I was a longtime Producer and Editor on ESPN's Marketing creative team. As part of the in-house agency, I used my skills to create award-winning commercials for all our major sport properties and brands. These included Monday Night Football, Sunday Night Baseball, and EURO 2020. I also helped launch the marketing campaign for the UFC on ESPN when we first acquired the rights. I've collaborated with major artist such as Drake, DJ Khaled, Eminem, and Diplo on promotional content and social-first creative. In 2020, I won the Promax Award for Best Sports Editing in North America.
I flourish in positions where I can lead a group of people to reach a common goal. I love the ability to help others grow in order to help achieve success for the greater good. While in college, I played NCAA D1 soccer and was a captain of our team for two and a half years. I helped lead our team to the final of the Patriot League Tournament during my senior season.
I am a very passionate self-starter who is interested in all things video production, motion graphic design, social media, and marketing. If you have experience in any of these fields, I’d love to chat. Check out my social media profiles to get an inside look into my life.
